5 Stars Best Tablet PC Overall

Bestcovery's experts have ranked this the #1 Best Tablet PC Overall. Lenovo's X200 tablet is a derivative model of Lenovo's X200, which currently dominates the ultraportable laptop market due to its sturdy and utilitarian ThinkPad design. The X200 tablet essentially condenses the X200's pure laptop form to a tablet design, allowing for the screen to accept touch-screen input through its active digitizer sensors. With a carbon fiber construction on the top lid and glass fiber on the edges, the ThinkPad X200T is undoubtedly well constructed. The X200T is configurable with Intel Core 2 Duo processors as well as their low-voltage "LV" series of processors. Clearly, it is no slouch when it comes to processing ability; it even maintains good battery life. Its 12.1" 1280x800 screen can be configured with Wacom active digitizer technology, which utilizes a special stylus for input in order to prevent erroneous touch input from other things that may accidentally hit the screen. Consequently, this feature is especially useful for writing on the tablet, since the palm of the hand would not register as an input on the touch-screen. The X200T weighs about 3.8lb even with its extended battery, proving to be a road warrior with excellent build quality. This tablet is a great candidate for the traveling businessperson or college student, although it isn't the cheapest tablet PC on the block. Nonetheless, the ThinkPad build quality and keyboard design will be sure to make it a long-lived asset for any tablet PC buyer.
