Do not do business with this merchant if you want to call them that. I ordered a corner bookshelf twice by mistake. No problem, I called Mercantila and they sent me email instructions along with a shipping number to send the other bookshelf back. Problem is it\s now December and after 3 calls to the so called \"customer service\" I have yet to recieve a refund. I finally gave up and file a complaint with the BBB. I wish I would have read these comments first. So if you want to try and keep your life somewhat simple - buy from someone else!!!

Terrible! I ordered a trampoline for my grandson\s birthday on Sept 28. They promised it would be here in time. On the friday before his birthday they sent an email that there was some mistake and that the trampolines were on backorder and would be shipped in November. They blame it on the warehouse and are full of apologies, but the fact remains that they totally ruined my plans and left me up a creek.

It took from May 10 until August 28 to get the product, get return auth, and ship the product back, then get credit. When the credit came, it was $50 less than the amount paid. They said it was restocking and shipping when the representative told me there would be NO restocking charge and NO return shipping. I did not use the product. Mercantilia is a SHISTER company and they will put the screws to you big time. DON\T, repeat, DON\T order nothing from them. You are in for a traumatic experience. Go to Google and type in Mercantila complaints.....You\ll see

This is the worst online merchant I have ever dealt with. I ordered a wine cooler, which arrived damaged (the handle was falling off and it was dented). I called immediately and someone took down the info. They never got back to me about picking up the item, despite five calls and numerous emails. I was then told that I had to provide pictures of the damage and that I was responsible for packing up this 200 lb. item. The shipper, who was supposed to unpack the thing, just dumped it at my door. Do not purchase anything from this merchant. It does not get worse than this.

I purchased a loft bed from mercantila.com. The company promised a special shipping price which included installation. The product was dropped off and never installed. They also promised a free lamp with the purchase which was never delivered and when asked - said they were all out of those lamps. Then when we installed the bed ourselves, one of the side planks was cracked. The company will not refund for the installation costs and we are getting a run around on the side plank replacement.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Customer service is terrible!It appears that their company name is filled with bad reviews all over the internet. I also plan on contacting the BBB and the attorney generals office for the state of california. I understand people are thinking of starting class action lawsuits against Mercantila.

Ordered 2 nightstands on Feb 22nd, ship date was 3/18. Called Mercantila on 3/20 when had not received shipping confirmation and was told that item was back ordered and would be shipped on 4/10. Called on 4/10, and customer service representative was rude and gave me no information. Items arrived on 4/13. One of the two items was damaged. On 4/15, I contacted Mercantila and was asked to email pictures and information of the damage. I called them on 4/22 after not hearing back from them and was told they were working on resolving the issue. Called on 4/28 again after not hearing from them, and was told they were still tryting to resolve the issue with the manufacturer. As of now, its been over 9 weeks since I placed the order, I don\t have my all the items for which they charged me at the time of purchase, and have a broken item in my home. I would not shop with them again.

Ordered a pool cleaner and got delivery in 4 days. Very satisfied. Pricing was the best I could find online, and I got immediate email confirmation with a UPS tracking number. I would recommend this store to a friend (as long as you have a swimming pool!)

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! They claim they shipped my order and so i wait for 7-10 days and i never get it. then i find out that they didnt even have the product and they put a bogus tracking number on my order so it looked like my order was on its way, but really the tracking number was for someone elses order completely. SOOOO I NEVER RECEIVED MY PRODUCT AND NOW IM FIGHTING TO GET MY MONEY BACK. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. IVE TRIED CALLING AND ALL I GET IS THE RUN AROUND. I ask to speak with their management and im on hold for 20 - 30 minutes and then i never get ahold of anyone. and when i ask to speak to their corporate office about my refund they wont let me and they say that they do not have phone numbers???!!!! um OK...!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN OR HAVE ANYTHING TO DO W/ THEIR SERVICES AGAIN.

I have not received my order for a Roberts sewing table. The business took $114.99 of my hard earned money. Web site says, "Ships within 1-2 weeks." My $10.00 cash back coupon said, "Ships within 1 day." Its been 3 weeks and Ive received nothing. Talked with Rep on phone a few days ago. Said it was scheduled to ship today. (3/13) I checked their site and that never happened. 3/19/09 Called and asked for status again. Rep said, "Oh, we sent you an email that the legs are on back order from Utah." This was a lie, an email was never sent and I check my junk mail. The table doesnt come with legs from a different place, it is one unit. I sent an email today cancelling my order. I wonder how much this crappy company makes off interest for the millions of dollars of orders they hold money for that get cancelled. Threin lies the secret of their success. Perhaps the IRS should investigate them.

Im giving them 4 instead of 5 stars because it took a little over 2 business days to update my status. It only took 3 business days for them to get it to me which I was very impressed with after reading all the bad reviews here, the item arrived in great condition and at the time the delivery company said it would. The price was unmatched, thats why I purchased from them. Not sure about all the people with problems but if your looking for a bowflex I say go for it.
