Abe's has been one of my favorite online merchants with consistent best prices. Within the past year I purchased a Canon HF-10 and a HF-S100 from them plus a Panasonic DMC-FZ18 before that. Sarah in Customer Service was extremely helpful in getting my 2nd camcorder expedited to ensure that it arrived in time for my vacation. Abe's is the first place I will look first. - Thanks Abe's!*** UPDATE ***Sadly "Abe's of Maine has" has started using some of the all-too-familiar selling practice of many questionable merchants. Here is a brief description of my latest order with Abe's.- Placed an order for a Nikon D90 and a Sigma 18-250mm lens.- Next day, got a email alert to call to "confirm" the order.- When I called, the salesperson suggested I should get: 1) a filters kit for the lens; 2) an extra battery; 3) Extended Warranty for the camera.- I refused and immediately he cut the prices down by nearly 50%.- I agreed out of convenience even though I can get them cheaper elsewhere.
