  I purchased a bath tub from Wayfair.com, the item price shown on order confirmation page was $20 more than what was quoted in the previous screen. I understand prices are subject to change, but i feel it is unethical to increase the price after the purchase button is clicked without any warning to the consumer. The proper thing would have been to stop the purchase process and alert me of the increase in price. It seems like a bait and switch tactic, hoping that most customers would not notice such a minor increase in price, specially when the product costs more than a thousand dollars. Even on the confirmation screen wayfair.com had no text alerting me that the price charged was more than what I agreed to. It was just pure luck that I noticed the difference and was able to call to get the amount credited back to my account. he customer service agent was still able to see the old price when I called and could not explain why the item price on my order was $20 more.

  I have been very displeased ordering through way fair. I ordered a bed for my wife on December 11 in hopes it would arrive by Christmas or just after since it said expected delivery 11-14 days on the product page. Well unfortunately after I paid and received the confirmation email, the email stated the expected shipment date wouldnt be until January 6! Why does it take almost a month to ship something? Even worse it's january 8 and I'm having to call and see why a tracking number hasn't been sent. Turns out it still has not left the warehouse and they are emailing me back what's going on. It was also nice to receive the daily annoying emails flooding my inbox from way fair. 1 particular one was titled "there's 1 more day for guaranteed arrival by Christmas!" BS. I should have just walked to the damn warehouse and brought the bed on my back by now.
