I've been waiting since before Easter for an $800 lens that appears to have been stolen from the courier's facility in Calgary. An employee at Olds Camera Warehouse told me that everything shipped the week my lens was shipped had disappeared, and that her boss had taken a week off at that time. Now that he's back, he's still ignoring my emails, not taking calls, and the CSR is hanging up on customers requesting info about the orders from that week. I've been waiting patiently but at this point, I just can't believe how unprofessional and irresponsible this retailer is. I have to assume that my order was not insured, so I'll have to stop payment on the charge to my credit card. If the situation had been properly handled and I'd been kept informed I'd still be a customer, but this is just too disgusting. I'd never recommend Olds Camera Warehouse to my colleagues or friends. In addition, the website will indicate that items are in stock when they are not.

Received my order yesterday,if it wasn't for the snow storm we had, I would of had the product in 3 days. when I phoned customer sevice they were great! Thank you OLDS, not only were your prices lower than anyone else,your customer service was tops. Thanks again,you have me as a customer that will be satisfied,all the time. BOB

I made a payment on Thursday, expecting to receive the camera by the next Friday. The site did say that the camera would be shipped on Friday. On Saturday, I received e-mail saying that since I have paid by MasterCard I needed to call them to confirm my shipping address, but in fact the payment was made by Visa, not by MasterCard. Of course, nobody answered phone on Saturday. When I called them on Monday, they refused to correct their own mistake and ship the camera by air. I won't buy from them anymore and don't recommend anybody doing that.
